Welcome to
gavinlakin.com, the official website dedicated to the songwriting and
musical artistry of published ASCAP member Gavin Lakin. Though a
lifelong California native raised on the California Sound, Gavin enjoys
writing and producing all styles of music. Currently, Gavin’s catalog
consists of over 300 songs, most of which Gavin controls 100% of the
Masters & Publishing.
Since his
late-teens, Gavin has been playing piano, composing music and writing
lyrics. Gavin’s songwriting features universal themes, hook-filled
melodies, heartfelt & humorous storytelling, fresh chord progressions
and lush vocal arrangements.

Gavin’s credits & successes include a non-exclusive single song
licensing deal for “My Turn Now” with the Alzheimer’s Association, the
song, “Promised Land” featured on NBC’s Passions, the song,
“Lesson in the Blues” receiving an Honorable Mention award for the
CMT.com/NSAI 4th Annual Song Contest, and signing publishing
deals with Transition Music in Los Angeles and Access Music in the San
Francisco Bay Area.
